Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Staffordshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Staffordshire, England. You should have: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
