Shuttering and concrete hand — Wrexham

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Wrexham, Wales. Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works 2+ years on the tools preferred. £14 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
