Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Knox County, Ohio. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
