Toolroom milling operator • Montgomery County, Alabama

Great opportunity: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Montgomery County, Alabama. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
