Heavy goods vehicle driver — North East Lincolnshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in North East Lincolnshire, England. Your main tasks: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Requirements: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Part-time with flexible hours.
