Immediate opening: restaurant steward (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Essex County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service Day-to-day duties: • Clear and reset tables between covers • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience.
