Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Sanilac County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day to day you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions.
