Vacancy available: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Esmeralda County, Nevada. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
