Aluminium tig welder — Gooding County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Gooding County, Idaho. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
