Concrete finisher — Mercer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Mercer County, New Jersey. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
