Aluminium tig welder — Haskell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Haskell County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Part-time with flexible hours.
