Excavator operator • Nodaway County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Nodaway County, Missouri. The job is at a plant hire yard. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster 6+ years on the tools preferred. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
