Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder.
