We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Porter County, Indiana. The job is at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Your main tasks: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Rotating shifts.
