Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc turner in Amherst County, Virginia. Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; load and index turning tools in the turret; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
