Join our team: sand plant operator (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Jay County, Indiana. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
