Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 4+ years on the tools preferred.
