Tig welder wanted in San Jacinto County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in San Jacinto County, Texas. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
