Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Arenac County, Michigan. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Day-to-day duties: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
