Lifting rigger wanted in Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
