GTAW welder — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Monroe County, Indiana. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
