We are recruiting: RCC mason (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a RCC mason in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Your main tasks: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
