Gantry crane operator — City and Borough of Birmingham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure 2+ years on the tools preferred.
