HSE officer — Morrow County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HSE officer in Morrow County, Ohio. You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Full-time with occasional weekends.
