Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Travis County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Travis County, Texas. The job is on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level On a typical shift you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
