Vacancy available: GTAW welder (Oregon)

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Morrow County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
