Gas service engineer • Manchester, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Manchester, England. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day-to-day duties: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray We offer £2,200 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
