Safety inspector — Jama'Are

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety inspector in Jama'Are, Bauchi State. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports 6+ years on the tools preferred.
