We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
