Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day-to-day duties: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
