Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turner in Granville County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Six days a week, one day off.
