Vacancy available: sand plant operator (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills Rotating shifts. £14 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
