Plant operator • Scotland County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Scotland County, North Carolina. Day to day you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
