Slinger signaller • Gloucester County, New Jersey

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Gloucester County, New Jersey. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off.
