Garment machinist — Jada

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Jada, Adamawa State. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
