Finish carpenter • Lafayette County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Lafayette County, Arkansas. You will work on a busy construction site. The role involves measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided.
