Now hiring: concrete placer (Wisconsin)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
