What we are looking for: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Day-to-day duties: • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away Rotating shifts.
