Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive technician in Santa Cruz County, California. Day to day you will diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; replace clutch plates and gearbox components; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair. Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
