Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cottonwood County, Minnesota. The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites $10,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
