Stainless steel welder wanted in East Renfrewshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper 3+ years on the tools preferred.
