We are recruiting: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Northumberland County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming Requirements: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
