Immediate opening: refrigeration and AC mechanic (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Union County, Illinois. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; service split AC units and VRF systems; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
