Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Greater London, England. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Own basic hand tools • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On the job you will handle: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
