Construction helper — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. Your main tasks: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
