Domestic gas engineer — Costilla County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Costilla County, Colorado. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. On a typical shift you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
