Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Bates County, Missouri. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
