Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Clinch County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
