Shakeout operator • Winona County, Minnesota

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Winona County, Minnesota. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. 4+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
