Great opportunity: offshore rigger (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cottle County, Texas. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
